About Pristine
Michael Johnson is a world-renowned acupuncturist who has been practicing Acupuncture for over 12 years. He is originally from Johnson City, Tennessee, and he lived in East Tennessee until he was 24. Michael graduated from Tennessee Tech with honors in Psychology. After having his migraines helped with Chinese medicine, he decided to move to Seattle and learn Acupuncture at one of the top 3 universities in the country, Bastyr University.

Michael graduated from Bastyr with honors in 2009 and went on to train underneath skilled practitioners for 2 more years when he left school. He learned to specialize in Japanese Acupuncture that is very gentle and almost painless. Michael and his wife then moved to Fairbanks, Alaska for 6 years and worked in a wonderful multidisciplinary clinic in Alaska.

During this time Michael learned specialized allergy elimination techniques (NAET).

For the last 4 years, Michael owned a successful clinic in Salem, Oregon. But after all this time, he decided it was time to move back home. Michael, his wife Kim, and their 3 kids are so excited to be living in Western North Carolina and are absolutely in love with Western NC. Michael spent a lot of time in these mountains as a kid, and they were the best times of his life.
